On this week’s Modern Notebook, Tyler Kline shares a solo harp piece by Sayo Kosugi titled Nebula, Blooming; also, music for solo English Horn by Meera Gudipati titled Ashakiran – “Ray of Hope.”


Plus, a stunning work by Ellen Lindquist titled Mantra, for gamelan and chamber orchestra. It’s music that envelopes the listener in a sound world full of subtle detail and delicate sound textures.
