On Modern Notebook this week, it’s a bit of a celebration of Fall time, including Akemi Naito’s “Memory of the Woods” for solo marimba, and music by Toru Takemitsu for traditional Japanese instruments biwa and shakuhachi alongside a Western orchestra… titled “November Steps.”
