This week marks the one-year anniversary of the launch of Modern Notebook on Classical WSMR, and we will be celebrating by playing a broad mix of favorites from the past year. Featuring a line-up of music by Jeffrey Mumford, Emma O’Halloran, Christopher Stark, Dai Fujikura, Baljinder Sekhon, Vivian Fung, Ingrid Stölzel, and others.


Plus performances by the Argus Quartet, pianist Conor Hanick, the Unheard-of Ensemble, Aizuri Quartet, Nouveau Classical Project, violinist Miranda Cuckson, pianist Eunmi Ko, violist Anne Leilehua Lanzilotti, and a whole lot more..

On the final episode of Modern Notebook with Tyler Kline: Hideaki Aomori’s Split stretches the bass clarinet to its limits, exploring the full breadth of its sound world.
