On this week’s Modern Notebook, Tyler Kline will be joined by composer Judith Lang Zaimont. Zaimont will be in virtual residence at the University of South Florida from February 15th to 19th. She’ll discuss a few of the world premieres of her music the USF New-Music Consortium will be presenting, talk about her incredible career as a composer, and much more.


Plus: music by Chinary Ung, Scott Lee, Narong Prangcharoen, Gabriela Lena Frank, Shelley Washington, and others; and performances by pianist Chen-Hui Jen, JACK Quartet, Heare Ensemble, PUBLIQuartet, Admiral Launch Duo, and more.
